Stephens International Recruiting, Inc., celebrating over 30 years in business, was founded in 1988 in San Antonio, TX by Doug Stephens, a Certified Biomedical Maintenance Technician (CBET) and Retired Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4), Biomedical Maintenance Officer from the US Army.  Additionally, Doug has over thirty years of experience in the Clinical Equipment / Healthcare Technology Management career field.  While specializing in the biomedical equipment technology / HTM career field, we have grown to be one of the nation’s leading health care executive recruitment and search firms servicing many healthcare disciplines. We provide the full range of executive search services, whether you are a career seeker looking for a new position or a client company seeking to fulfill staffing requirements. We also provide temporary staffing services for 30 days or more for biomedical equipment technicians, imaging service technicians, managers, and other specialty positions. Stephens International Recruiting, Inc. provided consultation and technical staffing services for a client to review their clinical equipment and maintenance programs in overseas areas to ensure the medical equipment and services are up-to-date with HTM standards. Stephens International Recruiting, Inc. has several senior Biomedical Equipment Technicians who have been instrumental in providing these services to our clients.  This continues to be a very exciting part of our government business initiatives that we provide anywhere in the US and most OCONUS areas. As always, these efforts do not interfere with their primary mission and focus of providing health care clients nationwide with quality talent acquisition search and staffing support services.

Stephens International Recruiting, Inc. continues to support our client in Emergency Medical Response Services nationwide, providing the technical staffing services for several 200-bed Mobile Field Hospitals, housed in TN in preparation for any national or international disaster.  Our senior BMETs ensures the shelters and specific medical equipment are ready for deployment at a moment’s notice. It has been a great partnership with our client and a very rewarding experience.

News Release 2017

Stephens International Recruiting, Inc.  has partnered with our client in 2016 who took over the Emergency Medical Response Services nationwide. Stephens International Recruiting, Inc. provides the technical staffing services for several 200-bed Mobile Field Hospitals.  These Mobile Field Hospitals are strategically placed in the TN to enhance disaster preparedness in the event of natural disasters or other mass casualty incidents nationally or internationally. Stephens International Recruiting, Inc. has several senior Biomedical Equipment Technicians to support these services.  This continues to be a very exciting part of our government business initiatives, but by all means does not take away from our primary mission and focus of providing our health care clients with quality talent acquisition search and staffing support services.

Our recruiters have accomplished and maintain their certifications as both Certified Personnel Consultants (CPC) andCertified Temporary Staffing Specialists (CTS), achieving the highest standards of the recruiting industry.  Maintaining this certification demonstrates their knowledge of current employment laws, business operations and ethics, personnel and contract management, and other critical areas within the industry.  This certification indicates the certified individuals are adhering to the NAPS Standards of Ethical Practices, and their professionalism, credibility, and dedication to the staffing industry.

Doug has an ICC Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).  This is a formal recognition by the International Certification Commission (ICC) for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Technology that individuals have demonstrated excellence in theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the principles of biomedical equipment technology.  Certification demonstrates their knowledge to ensure a safe, reliable healthcare environment and commitment to career and competence.  This also helps us to identify quality and competent biomedical equipment technicians and imaging service engineers for our client companies.
